KVS  JR MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has been organizing Junior Maths Olympiad to arouse interest and to spot mathematical talent among the students of KVS .Almost 10 KVS Junior mathematical Olympiad have been organized till date .

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Becoming scholar is a matter of being hungry for knowledge . But becoming talented is a matter of applying that knowledge to gain wisdom to make difference in the world .

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan a premier organization in the field of secondary and senior . Secondary education and it has specific mission . It has to achieve its mission of “To purchase excellence and set the face in the field school education”.

GENERAL GUIDELINES ARE ISSUED FROM TIME TO TIME BY KVS  

ELIGIBILITY : 10th class students who have Secured 55% marks in aggregate and 60% in mathematics in 9th class examination  . 

SYLLABUS   : There is no fixed syllabus sound knowledge of mathematics up to class 9th and Algebra  of class 10th will be normally covered for KVS JR Mathematical Olympiad .  

REGISTRATION  : The eligible and willing candidates has to register herself/himself by giving very meager fees of says Rs.40

Admit card is issued by the principal after allowing the Roll No. and the examination center  

Certificates and Prizes cash Award are also given by the KVS (HQ)  like

  1. KVs State level : First reward is Rs 5000,Second reward is Rs.3000 and Third reward is Rs.2000

  2. Regional Level : Rs2000 and Rs1500 and Rs1000 respectively .

  3. The students rewarded both state and regional level rewards will be given cash prizes for only one which ever is higher .
